My photo today is a tribute to Mrs. Irma Connell who died this morning aged 88. This photo is Mrs. Connell with her Great-Grandaughter, Wini.
Mrs. Connell, to me, was a strong, extremely honest woman who had very definite opinions.
She gave to those she saw needing help & she had a wonderful acceptance of people just as they were, though this could at times be hidden by her forthright personality, it was always part of her. Bless & R.I.P ❤ xo
There is a lovely cafe/florist at Southbank called ‘Flowers of the World’. It has a cafe-type setting on the footpath outside & boasts a variety of coffees, snacks, lunches…Inside is a florist & art space. Such a cute little place to have morning tea & admire the divine flowers!
Coffee, Movies, Lunch…all in the beautiful surrounds of Brisbane’s Southbank…love wandering through the green areas , taking breaks for shopping & eating 🙂
Not used to seeing moths (assuming its a variety of moth) this size & colour! Stunning…on the back of a bench outside the newsagent in our street. See the circle on each wing that looks like a hole? Amazing creature.
How Cool Is This!?
It was in the cafe we went to before the movies the other day…made out of tiny bottles with gold-coloured screw top lids…really funky and different! 🙂
A little late, but Happy Australia Day!!…didn’t have my camera, so this is a phone shot, bit of green and gold for Aussie Day 🙂
Unique gifts from a Mongolian student who has come to Australia to undertake a two year scholarship…the picture is made of soft leather & is gorgeous…the goat is Heathcliffe-Mongolian-style 😉
